Breaking News: Another international break injury as Chelsea summer-signing forced off

The nature of the injury is unknown, but Chelsea custodian Filip Jorgensen had to be replaced during Denmark Under-21s’ Tuesday night triumph over Czech Republic.
After leaving Villarreal in the summer, Jorgensen moved to Stamford Bridge. He has played in the Europa Conference League twice so far, but he has yet to make his Premier League debut.
During the international break, the 22-year-old was called up to the Denmark Under-21 team, and he started both the team’s 4-2 loss to Iceland and their 5-0 victory over the Czech Republic.

But, Jorgensen was replaced by Andreas Jungdal late in the convincing victory on Tuesday, as the Chelsea player was unable to complete the match.
After the match, Steffen Hojer, the manager of Denmark’s Under-21 team, said that although he wasn’t sure what the issue was, it was obviously serious enough to warrant a change.
“I’m not really sure,” They are checking him. He said, via Campo, “I don’t know how bad it went, but it was certainly [bad] enough for him to go off.”
I merely enquired about his well-being. Though he was irritated that he had to go, perhaps there wasn’t a serious issue.

Chelsea will play their first Premier League match on Saturday at 8 p.m. away at Bournemouth.
Jorgensen’s chances of unseating Robert Sanchez in goal are further diminished by his ban from international duty, even though he was never expected to play.
The Spaniard has started the opening three Premier League games for the Blues this year, but he hasn’t kept a clean sheet in the team’s draws with Crystal Palace, Wolves, and Manchester City defeats.
Enzo Maresca, the Chelsea manager, hopes to have Cole Palmer and Romeo Lavia available due to fitness issues, but he will be without right-backs Reece James and Malo Gusto for the trip to the Cherries.
Jorgensen is not a significant fitness concern for Chelsea, but over the past few days, more serious injury concerns have been raised by Premier League teams, most notably by Manchester City defender Nathan Ake and Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard.
