“I have returned the Man of the match award to him because he deserved it more than me… He came as a substitute but did something others couldn’t”: Bukayo Saka shocked by his Arsenal teammate’s performance against PSG today despite coming as a substitute

In Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League match against Arsenal, Gianluigi Donnarumma had a night to regret as the Gunners doubled their lead from a free-kick from Bukayo Saka after a second mistake.

The Premier League team had the better chances of the two teams in the first half, and a header from Kai Havertz gave the home team the advantage.

Donnarumma was heavily involved in that goal because, rather than standing on his line, the Italian goalie raced out into no man’s land, allowing the German to head in the first goal.

After another catastrophic mistake by the PSG goalie fifteen minutes later, Arsenal doubled their lead.

From a long way out, Saka curled in a free kick into the Ligue 1 champions’ area, and the ball glided past Donnarumma in the PSG goal with ease.

Luis Enrique would not have been pleased with his goalie at halftime because the goal was avoidable and left his team with a lot of work ahead of them in their second Champions League matchup.
