“I returned the Man of the Match award to him, as he deserved it more than me…” “He came on as a substitute but did something others couldn’t.” Bukayo Saka was stunned by his Arsenal teammate’s performance against PSG last night, despite coming on as a replacement.

Gianluigi Donnarumma had a night to forget in Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League match against Arsenal, as a second blunder allowed the Gunners to double their advantage with a Bukayo Saka free-kick.

The Premier League club had the better opportunities of the two sides in the first half, and the home side took the lead thanks to a Kai Havertz header.

Donnarumma had a significant part in the goal, as the Italian goalkeeper raced out into no man’s land rather than staying on his line, allowing the German to score the opening.

15 minutes later, the PSG goalie made another stunning blunder, allowing Arsenal to double their advantage.

Saka struck a free-kick into the Ligue 1 champions’ area from a great distance, and it easily slipped past Donnarumma in the PSG goal.

The goal was avoidable, and Luis Enrique would not have been pleased with his goalkeeper at halftime, as it left the Spaniard’s squad with a lot to do during the second half of their second Champions League battle.
