Bukayo Saka response to PSG win speaks volumes after recent Arsenal criticism

Arsenal easily defeated Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 on Tuesday night, thanks to Mikel Arteta’s tough approach.

“I see a lot of people talking about Arsenal and how we play. It’s all about the outcomes. Different games have various settings. We must do whatever is takes to win in any situation, whether it is set pieces or playing our beautiful football. “We simply want to win.”

When asked by Arsenal great Thierry Henry on CBS Sports if this may be the year Arsenal eventually beat City to win the Premier League title, Saka responded: “I don’t want to put too much pressure on us, but I believe this is the year. I believe we have been close for the past two years, and we are growing closer. But, hopefully, this is the year.

Arteta is rightfully pleased of the work ethic he created in his team. “The players do it and they don’t feel like it is nasty, they feel that it is their duty to the team,” he told me. “And they have started to love it.”It all depends on how you feel when you do anything; if you truly feel it, you do it properly; if not, you are simply cheating. These men do not cheat; they always run and track back. If you want to be a great squad, you must have eleven guys capable of working.

“Sometimes you don’t want to play a certain manner, but if your opponent brings you there, you must be willing to do it. We spent a lot of time in preseason discussing various scenarios and how we would handle them, as well as how we might apply them to our own game. We want to continue to win in whatever situation, therefore we must adapt.”Bukayo Saka responded emphatically to Arsenal’s critics after leading his team to an amazing Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsenal defeated PSG 2-0 in north London on Tuesday night, due to Kai Havertz’s header from Leandro Trossard’s cross and Saka’s free kick, which beat Gianluigi Donnarumma from out wide. The Gunners scored both goals in the first half and then held off a poor PSG side to earn three points.

Mikel Arteta’s side is unbeaten in nine games this season and has five clean sheets, two of which have come in the Champions League. Their tough approach has improved dramatically under Arteta, but has sparked criticism following the incident-packed 2-2 draw with Manchester City.

Some have dubbed Arsenal’s attempts to slow the game as “dark arts,” but Saka insists that such criticism is meaningless as long as the team wins. “I am quite hungry. “I’ve been a runner-up a lot, and this season I want to win,” he stated.
