Alejandro Garnacho of Manchester United has been linked with a transfer to Barcelona or Juventus, and TEAMtalk can tell the latest on his future, amid reports that his relationship with Erik ten Hag has frayed.

The Red Devils have had a terrible start to the season, sitting 13th in the Premier League rankings and failing to win a game in the Europa League.

This has sparked widespread speculation over manager Erik ten Hag’s future, and recent stories have connected Garnacho with a surprise departure. According to reports, the 20-year-old has become upset with the Dutchman’s lack of minutes for him this season.

It Barcelona and Juventus are allegedly interested in signing Garnacho in 2025, despite his rumoured £50 million price tag.

However, contrary to claims, TEAMtalk knows that Manchester United see Garnacho as ‘untouchable’, and a cost of more than £70 million would be required for them to consider a deal.

Barcelona is looking to recruit a new winger, but their first priority is Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, thus Garnacho is just regarded a backup or C option.

According to sources, Juventus is monitoring Garnacho’s position and has him on its shortlist, along with Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi.

Garnacho dreamed of switching to Real Madrid, according to reports.
As previously stated, there have been speculations that Garnacho has become upset with Ten Hag owing to his minimal playing time this season.

We realize that there is some truth to this, but Garnacho stays focused on the Red Devils and securing his position in the starting lineup.

Garnacho’s aim, however, is to one day play for Spanish giants Real Madrid, despite previously playing for rivals Atletico Madrid as a child.

The Argentine international would find it tough to turn down Carlo Ancelotti’s side if they came knocking, but they already have enough of wingers in Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Kylian Mbappe, and Endrick.

The objective of the Manchester United hierarchy is to offer stability to the team, and maintaining their top players, such as Garnacho, is critical to that.

Barcelona are now unable to match Garnacho’s asking price of more than £70 million, and even if Juventus would, Manchester United are unlikely to let him depart in January.

Manchester United are looking for a Benfica winger.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are allegedly interested in signing a new winger, with Benfica’s Kerem Akturkoglu on sports director Dan Ashworth’s shortlist.

The Red Devils have been blown away by the winger’s start to the season and are now considering him as a target for next summer.

Akturkoglu has six goals and five assists in 11 games this season, capturing the interest of numerous elite clubs.

Akturkoglu just joined Benfica this summer, from Galatasaray, for €12 million (£10 million; $13.2 million), yet the Portuguese club might earn a significant profit on him at the end of the season.

According to a recent source, Manchester United are prepared to make a bid of €40 million (£33.7 million; $44.1 million) for Akturkoglu, who prefers to play on the left wing.

The greatest topic surrounding Manchester United right now, however, is definitely Ten Hag’s future with the club.

According to TEAMtalk, the Red Devils’ performance against Aston Villa on Sunday may determine whether or not the Dutchman is fired.

We understand that Thomas Tuchel and Max Allegri are the primary candidates for replacements.
