It would be wonderful to have him. “Arteta won’t be able to offer him trophies,” says Antonio Rudiger, telling the 23-year-old star of the Gunners to move from that tiny club, Arsenal, to Real Madrid in order to win La Liga and the Champions League.

The top player of Real Madrid, Antonio Rüdiger, has stated that if given the chance, he would bring a defensive player from Premier League powerhouse Arsenal to the capital of Spain.

On Thursday, the German international had an interview with “The Inside Scoop,” a YouTube program.

The former Chelsea star was asked a number of fascinating questions throughout the conversation, covering a wide range of topics from goal celebrations to his current circumstances in Madrid.

Still, the most asked question concerned which modern football central defenders are the best.

Rüdiger was asked to list the top three central defenders in world football, omitting himself.

“I’m not going to rank them. Gabriel, Saliba, and Van Dijk are pressing.

The German then turned his attention to William Saliba of Arsenal, acknowledging that he would be content to have the 23-year-old at his side in Madrid:

“I’m thrilled to have Militão as my center-back partner. After recovering from a severe injury, he is now performing at his peak. However, we would rotate because there are so many games, so having Saliba would be amazing.
