Virgil Van Dijk gives surprising three-word response to Liverpool statistic
Liverpool triumphed 1-0 against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, with center backs Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate keeping the Eagles at bay at Selhurst Park.
Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk was astonished to find that his club had the best defensive record in the Premier League following their victory against Crystal Palace.
Diogo Jota scored the game’s sole goal at Selhurst Park, as Arne Slot’s team kept their fifth clean sheet in seven league outings. Only Nottingham Forest’s Callum Hudson-Odoi and Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri have scored against the Reds, despite conceding in the Champions League and Carabao Cup.
