“After Arteta refused to bench him, I have made the decision to leave this club. “I’m tired of it,” an Arsenal star says to ONE specific guy who consistently lets the team down.

Arsenal overcame a 1-0 deficit to defeat Southampton 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium thanks in large part to Bukayo Saka.

The tenacious visitors frustrated Arsenal in the first half, and just after the interval, a Saints counterattack saw substitute Cameron Archer find the bottom corner.

However, the goal set off an instant reaction from Arsenal, as Saka stole the ball and found Kai Havertz, who finished well to score for his sixth goal in a row at home.

After Saka’s diagonal cross was completed by replacement Gabriel Martinelli, the turnaround was complete. The goal survived a VAR review for offside, and Saka then took advantage of another Saints mistake to convert Arsenal’s third goal and seal the game.

Between their second and third goals, Arsenal had more nerve-wracking moments when Tyler Dibling missed the crossbar and David Raya’s corner kick deflected back onto the bar.

Despite having 29 shots, Mikel Arteta’s team ultimately prevailed, leaving them one point behind leaders Liverpool and guaranteeing Southampton will continue to wait for their first season victory.
