Towards the end of Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, players and officials from Chelsea and Nottingham Forest got into a heated altercation on the field. When Marc Cucurella seemed to be shoved by Forest’s Neco Williams into Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca, sending him to the ground, the altercation became more intense.

This led to a widespread altercation between people on both sides. Nicolas Jackson is seen in later film allegedly touching Forest player Morato’s face.

Despite reviewing the event, VAR concluded that Jackson was not subject to any violent conduct, hence no action was taken against him. Maresca stated during the post-game press conference that he felt someone try to kick him when he was on the ground. I was standing there like this when I fell, and someone came.”

Maresca continued, “I was just there,” in response to the incident. In my field of expertise. This is the most crucial element.”

He also acknowledged the importance of being in his own vicinity during such incidents, reaffirmed his safety, and expressed appreciation for the worry, according to Football London.

The Football Association is going to penalize Chelsea for receiving six or more yellow cards in a single game. Wesley Fofana and Cucurella, on the other hand, will not play in the next Premier League match against Liverpool after the international break in October because they have each received five yellow cards so far this season.
