Erik Ten Hag is under tremendous pressure at Manchester United, and Domino’s has ridiculed the Dutchman as the food business looks to employ new personnel.

Domino’s has taken a hilarious dig at Erik Ten Hag, as the Manchester United boss faces increasing pressure.

The pizza restaurant insulted the Dutchman by placing a van outside Old Trafford with the statement, ‘We’re hiring (not you, Erik). It comes amid continuous speculation over his future with the club following a string of dismal outcomes.

A Domino’s representative said: “Based on his performance, it can’t be long until Ten Hag is fired. We are preparing for our busiest time of year, and we need people to join our team.”

“We are looking for people who are results-driven… so not one for Ten Hag unfortunately.”

The 54-year-old’s status as United manager is under investigation following Sunday’s disappointing 0-0 draw with Aston Villa.

This comes after a 3-3 stalemate with Porto in midweek, in which Manchester United lost a 2-0 lead, and a 3-0 loss at home to Tottenham Hotspur. The goalless draw at Villa left the Red Devils in 14th position in the Premier League, their worst start to the season.

Manchester United’s key decision-makers will meet on Tuesday, with Ten Hag’s future hanging in the balance.
