If Thomas Tuchel is appointed manager at Old Trafford, he is reportedly interested in signing Ronald Araujo, a center-back for Barcelona.

There is a lot of pressure on Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford, and it is said that INEOS will meet today to determine whether to continue working with the Dutchman or change course.

Man Utd plummeted to 14th in the rankings following their 0-0 draw against Aston Villa over the weekend, and they have only managed eight points from their first seven Premier League games this season.

Should the Manchester United administration want to switch managers during the international break, several managers have been connected to the position at Old Trafford.

Max Allegri, Eddie Howe, Simone Inzaghi, Thomas Frank, Graham Potter, Gareth Southgate, and others have all been linked to Manchester United; but, in recent days, former Chelsea manager Tuchel has become the clear favorite.

Furthermore, Tuchel is allegedly “getting closer to becoming the next Manchester United manager, and he already has a key signing in mind to strengthen the team,” according to rumors from Spain.

The Manchester United board “fits the profile that Tuchel is looking for,” and his hiring “would be a coup for a team that desperately needs a restructuring.”

The German is also demanding a single signing if he becomes manager of Manchester United, ranking injured Barcelona center-back Araujo at the top of his January transfer want list.

It has been claimed that Tuchel has made direct touch with the athlete to convey his enthusiasm and his wish for him to join his side. as the former Chelsea player views strengthening the Manchester United defense as a top priority.

According to the article, Tuchel’s fondness for the Uruguay international center back implies that “it would not be surprising if they made a juicy offer.”

The Man Utd board “is appreciated,” according to transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano, after they debated starting the German in place of Ten Hag throughout the summer.

On his YouTube channel, Romano stated: “Roberto de Zerbi was one more manager who received recognition. De Zerbi is obviously not a candidate for Manchester United right now, though, as he is working on another project with Olympique Marseille.

But just to let you know, when Man United thought about replacing the manager last summer, they had a few people in mind.

“They then made the decision to proceed with Erik ten Hag, but Tuchel was present, so Tuchel is valued and may be a candidate.

“However, Manchester United is still debating internally at the moment and hasn’t gotten in touch with any other coach just yet because they continue to honor and wait for Erik ten Hag.”
