‘Total Agreement’ – Fabrizio Romano says ‘elite’ striker is likely to join Arsenal for free next summer

Even if the summer transfer window is still open, there is already a partial focus on the market opportunities that will present themselves in the upcoming summer.

In fact, there are a lot of rumors floating around regarding players who might make transfers in the upcoming season.

The biggest transfer story going into 2025 is probably Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid, but there are several other elite players whose contracts expire at the end of the current campaign.

Players like Leroy Sane and Mohamed Salah are therefore in comparable situations going into the upcoming campaign.

The player Jonathan David’s contract expires the following year, and Fabrizio Romano of The Debrief predicts that the Canadian will likely sign a free agent contract the following summer.

Jonathan David is probably going to go away free.
Romano revealed his knowledge of the “elite” striker.

This is not a topic for October, November, December, or January, in my opinion. According to Romano, it will be for the second part of the season.

He won’t make a decision right away since he will take into account a number of factors, including the project, the managers, and the finances.

“He’s definitely speaking with a number of clubs—not just his agent, but clubs in England, Italy, and Spain as well as clubs not related to him.

One of the most well-known names available for purchase in the summer of 2025 is Jonathan David. Once more, he will deliberate before taking any action; this is not a choice that will be made in 2024 or for the present.

Jonathan David will consider his alternatives, but I anticipate that he will sign a free agent contract and depart Lille.

Jonathan David has been linked to both Arsenal and Tottenham. It’s certain that Jonathan David will join with a team next summer, but the issue is, which one?

Romano reports that although David’s agency has been in contact with teams all across Europe, a transfer to the Premier League might be the most desirable.

Tottenham and Arsenal have both long-standing supporters of David, who has recently been linked to them as they look for a new number nine.

Since they recently acquired Dominic Solanke, Spurs don’t really need a striker. However, since Richarlison is said to be leaving for Saudi Arabia, another center-forward may be added to the roster in the summer transfer window.

David is reportedly attracting interest from Aston Villa as well, so it seems like the striker has access to a Premier League path should he decide to pursue this move.

Certainly, as 2025 approaches, David is someone to watch.
