The decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the previous season marked Jurgen Klopp’s departure from the sport of football. He had been with the club for nine years, but he is now planning to make a comeback to the sport in the New Year.

In his first comeback to the sport since leaving Liverpool in the summer of 2017, Jurgen Klopp has agreed to take on the role of ‘Global Head of Soccer’ for Red Bull. This coincides with his first return to the game.

Klopp will begin his new post on January 1 and will be responsible for providing advice to Red Bull over their network of clubs located in Germany, Austria, New York, and other locations around the world.

It has also been stated that he is included in the pact with an exit option, which would enable him to quit his current position and take over as manager of Germany at some point in the future.

Jurgen Klopp has not disclosed any information on his future since he left his position as manager of Liverpool in May, following a period of tremendous success.

The statement made by Klopp was as follows: “After almost 25 years of sitting on the bench, I could not be more excited to get involved in a team like this.” My enthusiasm for football and the individuals who make the game what it is has not altered, despite the fact that the role I play has shifted.

The amazing football talent that we have at our disposal is something that I want to cultivate, grow, and encourage, and that is why I have decided to join Red Bull on a worldwide basis. This front may be accomplished in a variety of ways, including by utilizing the extensive expertise and experience that Red Bull holds, as well as by gaining information from other sports and other sectors.

As a group, we have the ability to uncover what is feasible. In the end, I am a member of an organization that is one of a kind, forward-thinking, and inventive. Although I regard my primary job as that of a mentor for the coaches and management of the Red Bull teams, I am only one of many members of this organization. Once again, I cannot express how excited I am about this.

After joining Liverpool from Borussia Dortmund in October 2015, the German player amassed a number of accolades during his time there, including the Premier League, the Champions League, the FA Cup, two League Cups, and the Club World Cup. Due to the fact that they won the Premier League championship, which was their first league triumph in thirty years, he is credited with completely altering the atmosphere that existed within the Merseyside club.

When Jurgen Klopp made the announcement that he would be departing Liverpool in January, he startled the whole football community. He also said his goodbyes to the club following the conclusion of the most recent Premier League season, which took place in May.

In the years that followed, he was associated with a number of prominent management positions; nevertheless, he has consistently stated that he would want to take a sabbatical from football, which suggests that it is possible that he will never return to the job of manager.

It was in July that he made the following statement: “At the moment, there is absolutely nothing in terms of jobs.” Not a club, not a nation. There must be a handful individuals who have not heard this particular section. Additionally, if you were to say, “I’ll make an exception for you now,” it would be the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened in the history of football. This is going to be some effort for me. My age prevents me from focusing only on padel tennis and my grandkids. Is that going to be coaching once more? Actually, I would say it is not a possibility at this time. For the next several months, let’s take a peek at what it will look like. As of this now, there is no information coming in.”

Pep Lijnders, Klopp’s former assistant at Liverpool, was chosen as the head coach of Salzburg in the summer. Klopp will instead contribute his knowledge to Red Bull’s football group, which selected him as head coach of Salzburg. It is unlikely that Klopp will be allowed to return to the front line of football soon after taking on his new post.
