News regarding injuries at Arsenal: Harry Kane sustains an odd injury prior to the Gunners’ Champions League match, which Bayern Munich wins.

Just over 24 hours after Bayern Munich drew Arsenal in the Champions League quarterfinals, Harry Kane left the game due to injury. The former Tottenham player couldn’t finish the game, but he did manage to score his team’s 31st Bundesliga goal of the year to help them rally.

With less than 20 minutes remaining in Saturday’s 5-2 victory over Darmstadt, Thomas Tuchel was forced to substitute his star forward. At the foot of the table was Darmstadt. The match is scheduled for less than three weeks before Arsenal hosts the German powerhouses.

Kane has a stellar record against the Gunners dating back to his days at Tottenham in north London, where he scored 14 goals in 19 games. These matches are frequently quite close. In those contests, the captain of England has won seven, tied five, and lost seven. He’ll try to defeat Mikel Arteta once more next month.

It did hurt his chances of playing, though, that on Saturday afternoon he struck the post while attempting to score for Bayern. Barely before halftime, Kane gave Bayern the lead. He had already contributed to Jamal Musiala’s equalizer. However, he did not add to his 37 victories overall because of an odd self-injury.

After hitting the wall and bending over in agony, Kane received assistance on the field. Next week, he will represent England against Belgium and Brazil.

In addition, they have league matches against Heidenheim and Borussia Dortmund to come before traveling to London for the first leg of their Arsenal match. At this point, Kane most likely won’t be out for very long.

However, injuries at this stage of the season are a concern for everyone, as Arteta is all too aware of.
