Andy Cole, a former striker for Manchester United, has expressed his wish that Marcus Rashford does not have any remorse over opting for a different path at the conclusion of his career.

Cole is concerned that Rashord may have some regrets.
United star has had a difficult time finding his form.
According to Hasselbaink, Rashford does not place a high importance on football.

Rashford has been subjected to a great deal of criticism for his lackluster performances for United over the course of the past few seasons. Most recently, former Three Lions assistant coach Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink made the assertion that football might not be the player’s “main priority.”

Now Cole has spoken up on the most recent challenges that the 26-year-old has been having with his form. Despite the fact that the former Red Devils great did not have any doubts about Rashford’s ability, he expressed his hope that during his retirement, the United star would not look back on his career and feel remorse for certain choices he made. Since the beginning of the current season, the striker has participated in 11 matches, during which he has scored four goals and contributed two assists.

During his conversation with Betfred, Cole stated, “Perhaps. Marcus is a fascinating young man because, throughout the first half of Manchester United’s match against Porto, I actually believed that he was the team’s best player. He was a good player, scored his goal, and then set up another one. He was really animated and engaged in the activity that he excels in. During the match against Aston Villa, he had a few brilliant runs, but on the other hand, he had the potential to be sent off owing to two foolish challenges. It was the appropriate decision for the manager to remove him from the squad, and he was doing it for the sake of the team as a whole.

It was reported to me that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink stated the previous week that he was uncertain as to whether or not football is Marcus’ primary concern. The fact that Jimmy has worked with England and that people only say certain things like that after they have witnessed things going on caused me to be a little surprised by it. I don’t know, but I just hope that Marcus doesn’t look back on his career and wish that he had done things differently because of the fact that he has everything in front of him.

Over the course of their most recent five matches across all competitions, Erik ten Hag’s team has not been able to capture a victory. In the Premier League match that will take place on October 19, they will be looking to go back to winning ways following the international break. Brentford is their opponent.
