The outstanding player for Manchester United, Noussair Mazraoui, has undergone surgery after experiencing heart palpitations. He will be out of action for the next few weeks as a result of the procedure.

In the Premier League match between Manchester United and Aston Villa, which ended in a scoreless draw, Mazraoui was substituted out at the halfway point, and Victor Lindelof moved into the right-back position to take his place.

Despite the fact that he was making his tenth appearance for the Red Devils after completing a summer transfer from Bayern Munich, the 26-year-old player ultimately decided to withdraw from Morocco’s team for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Central African Republic.

According to Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News, Mazraoui went under the knife for a “minor precautionary corrective procedure” in order to improve his heart palpitations. This was done in order to address the issue.

Mazraoui is expected to be sidelined for at least a month, and Manchester United is scheduled to be without the Morocco international for their match against Brentford at Old Trafford on October 19.

After suffering from Covid-19 at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Mazraoui was diagnosed with an inflammation of cardiac tissue in January 2023. As a result, he was unable to participate in the tournament for around six weeks.

According to a statement released by Bayern Munich at the time, “Noussair Mazraoui is out initially after testing positive for a Covid infection.”

Following the conclusion of the World Cup, the defender underwent a follow-up test in Munich, which indicated a slight inflammation of the pericardium. This condition will now be treated.

Additionally, Harry Maguire was compelled to leave the game that took place at Villa Park on the previous Sunday. Since then, the center back, who was once the captain of United, has acknowledged that he would be unavailable for a number of weeks ahead.

The English international player expressed his frustration to his fans on Instagram on Tuesday, saying, “Frustrated to pick up an injury over the weekend.”

“I’ll be out of action for a few weeks, but I am going to come back even stronger,” the athlete said.

An someone who is under pressure At this early point of the season, Erik ten Hag has been given a lot of fitness worries, particularly in defense, where he is still missing Leny Yoro (ankle), Luke Shaw (calf), and Tyrell Malacia (knee). It is especially concerning that ten Hag is still without these players.

Following the withdrawal of Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Amad Diallo from their respective national squads due to injuries, there are also concerns over the possibility of their participation in the match against Brentford, which is scheduled to take place in a little over a week’s time.

Mainoo was taken off the field in the last minutes of the match against Villa and is currently dealing with a thigh injury. Garnacho, on the other hand, has sustained a knee injury.

In the meanwhile, Amad was scheduled to play for the Ivory Coast in their match against Sierra Leone; however, he was excused from the match due to “health reasons.” He has now returned to Manchester for more testing.

“I’ve had knee problems for the last two games, and I won’t be able to be with the [Argentina] national team,” Garnacho posted on his Instagram page on Monday. “I’m sorry for the inconvenience.”

When it comes to the upcoming match against Paraguay and Peru in November, I am hoping to recuperate soon and be able to participate.
