Against Chelsea tonight, one Arsenal player really “stood up” and gave them a hard time. Moises Caicedo, a midfielder for Chelsea, laments, “He took the match personally against us.” I was quite fortunate not to be sent off for fouling him, but when we play again in the second leg, I will exact my retribution.

Moises Caicedo names the attacker for Arsenal who really “stood up” for his team against Chelsea.

Gary Neville gave special attention to a man who, in his opinion, performed admirably for the Gunners during the 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

Gabriel Martinelli gave Arsenal the lead, but Pedro Neto’s incredible goal gave Chelsea the victory.

With Liverpool winning and Man City losing this weekend, Arne Slot’s Anfield team emerged victorious.

In reality, Arsenal will have been hoping for much more from the match against Chelsea, but a draw is definitely not the end of the world.

That day, especially in the final third, some of Arsenal’s top players fell short of their ability.

Even though Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka played quietly, Moises Caicedo took the time to praise goal-scorer Martinelli for his effort.

Gabriel Martinelli received good marks from Moises Caicedo for his performance against Chelsea.

During his interview on Sky Sports, Caicedo was quick to praise Martinelli, saying that the Arsenal attacker had stood up to the plate.

“Martinelli is the one who had opportunities in the first half and is looking dangerous in the second half,” Caicedo said.

“I think Martinelli, a forward for Arsenal, has taken a stand today.”

Will Martinelli be able to establish the consistency required to excel as an Arsenal player?

Gabriel Martinelli is a fantastic young footballer with a lot of charisma who has long done well for Arsenal.

The crucial question is whether he can consistently score goals to genuinely establish himself as a top forward.

Today’s goal was his first in five goals this season, and he presently only has three.

If Martinelli wants to really flourish, he needs to show that he can score 15–20 goals a season and become consistent in his play.

Despite his strong performance against Chelsea, questions will remain till then.
