Man Utd captain Bruno Fernandes helps save ill passenger on easyJet flight

Bruno Fernandes, a playmaker for Manchester United, was praised for his fast thinking in assisting a passenger who had been unwell while travelling to Lisbon. The Portuguese star called for assistance after noting that the victim had gone unconscious.

Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, raced to the rescue of a passenger who was experiencing difficulty while travelling to Lisbon on an easyJet aircraft.

When Fernandes noticed that a passenger had passed out at the back of the plane on Monday, he was going back to his own country with Diogo Dalot, who is also a member of the United team and a fellow Portugal international.

It is reported that the 30-year-old individual hurriedly approached him before yelling out, “Excuse me! Please assist us! My apologies! We are in need of assistance!

After boarding the aeroplane to proceed to a business meeting in Lisbon, passenger Susanna Lawson related the tale to the playmaker, praising him for his prompt steps to assist the passenger. Lawson was a passenger on the trip.

According to what she shared with Business Cloud, Bruno was holding a male who appeared to be on the verge of passing out. Whether or if he lost consciousness is something I do not know.

The crew members hurried to the back in order to provide assistance. Bruno was able to assist the gentleman in settling into the vacant seat that was located in the rear of the vehicle.

Because he was concerned about his well-being, he remained in the rear with them. It may have been anywhere from five to ten minutes before he made his way back to his seat, but he did it in a manner that was, once again, incredibly unassuming. He was not interested in receiving any attention for himself.

It was not surprising that Fernandes rushed to the rescue of his fellow passenger, according to an insider at United Airlines. The insider cited the star’s humility and compassion, despite the fact that he is a celebrity and has a high profile.

“That’s typical of Bruno,” the United company insider remarked. “He’s not one to look away when such a situation happens, he’s one to show leadership and care, and to help in any way he can.”

Fernandes had made his 250th appearance for Manchester United after joining the club from Sporting Lisbon in 2020 for a sum of £67 million. The previous day, he had led United to a 3-0 victory against Leicester at Old Trafford.

Over the past several weeks, Fernandes has been performing exceptionally well for United. In the four games that have taken place since Erik ten Hag was fired, he has scored four goals and assisted on two more.
