According to Italian media, Sir Alex Ferguson, who admires Max Allegri, will want the player to lead Manchester United in the future.

Even though the season is just six games old, there are rumours of a managerial change at Old Trafford following a poor start. After the Red Devils’ most recent defeat to Tottenham, they have now lost three straight games, and Erik ten Hag is under greater pressure than ever.

Despite having a poor season, Ten Hag was kept on for the summer, but there are already speculations that he may be leaving. Allegri, who is presently without a club, is expected to be a strong candidate for the position if he is fired, especially as Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Ferguson supports him.

Mohamed Salah: Liverpool’s decision going ahead “will break the bank.”

Liverpool uses a shocking $93 million swoop to sabotage Manchester United’s transfer ambitions.

The two away games this week could determine Ten Hag’s future. They recently drew their European encounter against Twente and will now travel to Porto for a Europa League meeting on Thursday. One of the favourites to win the competition is the Portuguese squad.

They then play Aston Villa, a team that might contend with them for a top-four position. Even though they recently offered Ten Hag a new deal in the summer, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his colleagues might be forced to make a change if United loses both games.

Prior to choosing to return to Juventus for a second stint, Allegri received an offer from Real Madrid and was previously in the running for the Manchester United position under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Thomas Tuchel is probably going to be at the top of United’s list if they decide to hire a new manager. Following his departure from Bayern Munich, negotiations took place last summer, but both sides ultimately agreed to split ways. Tuchel might have an advantage because of his Premier League background with Chelsea.

He has also won the Champions League, and United may benefit greatly from his direct style as they struggle to meet expectations. According to reports, Simone Inzaghi of Inter Milan, who led the Italian squad to both domestic and European success, is also a candidate.
