Alejandro Garnacho has been informed by Roy Keane that he should make the decision to quit Manchester United if he is unable to take pleasure in celebrating goals scored for the club. Following his excellent goal in United’s 3-0 victory over Leicester City on Sunday, the Argentina winger did not show any emotion in response to the accomplishment.

Garnacho “didn’t celebrate like he should because he thinks he has lost the faith from some fans,” Bruno Fernandes disclosed. “He believes that he has lost the faith of some fans.” It came after a heated discussion with a fan that took place a few days previously, during United’s Europa League match against PAOK Salonika.

However, Keane has cautioned Garnacho, who is now United’s leading scorer with seven goals, that he need to find for another job if he is unable to celebrate scoring at Old Trafford. Garnacho is currently the top scorer for United this season.

During an interview on the Stick to Football podcast (which may be listened to below), the former captain of Manchester United stated, “If you can’t celebrate a goal, there is something drastically wrong with this game.”

“Whatever has occurred off the pitch for any player – it could be family matters – you work all week, and you’re playing the game to score a goal,” the coach said.

Fernandes stated that he had urged Garnacho to not allow the criticisms get to him and that the vast majority of fans placed a great deal of importance on him during his career.

According to the United captain, Garnacho scored a monumental goal, but he did not rejoice as much as he should have since he believes that he has lost the faith of some of the supporters.

“I reminded him that some will always complain, but that there are a lot of people that admire you and delight in what you do. My advice to him was to rejoice since it was a momentous occasion. There are players that make a difference, and he is one of those players. We are able to win games thanks to their efforts. Although we would like for them to score in each and every game, it is not going to happen.
