OFFICIAL: Arsenal have finally agreed to cash in on Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko by January to make way for a £90 million forward, with a secret agreement already in place. The player wants to move to Arsenal – congratulations Arsenal fans!

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Sporting CP star Ousmane Diomande, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

The Gunners are currently well-stocked at centre-back, with Mikel Arteta’s first-choice pairing being William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes. Ben White, Jurrien Timber, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Jakub Kiwior, and Riccardo Calafiori can all play centre back if necessary.

However, Kiwior has struggled to feature frequently at the Emirates Stadium and has been linked with a departure from the club. Tomiyasu, on the other hand, has struggled with injury issues in recent years, so the North London club could benefit from signing a better player.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal is interested in Diomande and might make a solid offer to bring him to the Emirates Stadium next year.

The player’s current deal includes a £67 million release clause, but the Portuguese giants will not let him depart in January and would rather cash in on him ahead of next season.

Diomande joins Arsenal.
According to the article, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Newcastle United are all in the running. Furthermore, Manchester United are interested in signing him, and they are the frontrunners in this race because of the Ruben Amorim link.

The 39-year-old manager had remarkable success at the Jose Alvalade Stadium, and after being pleased by his performances for Sporting, United hired him to replace Erik ten Hag. So Arsenal will have to work hard to defeat the reigning Premier League winners in this competition.

Arsenal have a long-standing interest in the Ivory Coast international, having been linked with a move for him in past transfer windows. However, they never devised a solid plan to obtain his services.

Diomande has already achieved remarkable success at a very early age as he won the league title with Sporting last season and captured the AFCON with Ivory Coast earlier this year.

The teenager, who is 6ft 3in tall, is a skilled player who might be a wise signing for Arsenal in the long run if they are able to secure his services.
