BREAKING: VAR officially releases final statement on Bruno Fernandez Red card situation – Congratulations Man United fans

NEWS FLASH: VAR has released their official final comment on the Bruno Fernandez red card situation – Well done, Man United fans!
Even though Manchester United lost 2-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers, the fact that captain Bruno Fernandes got a red card early in the second half made it even worse.
Two minutes after halftime, Fernandes got his second yellow card. He had to take the long walk down the tunnel for the third time this season, having already been sent off against Tottenham Hotspur and Porto.
The important thing is that Fernandes’ first red card against Tottenham was thrown out after United protested, so it doesn’t count against his record.
Fernandes was sent off against Wolves. This is his first official red card in the Premier League this year, so he will only miss one game instead of the two games that would normally follow a second red card.
Fernandes will have to watch from the sidelines when United plays Newcastle United on Monday, December 30. Newcastle is trying to stay in the running for a top four spot, and United is trying to stop them.
United star Fernandes will not be able to play in that game because he got his fifth yellow card of the season against Wolves. Head coach Ruben Amorim will also not be able to use Manuel Ugarte because he has to serve his own one-game ban.
Mason Mount is also hurt, so Amorim doesn’t have many choices in the middle of the field. He’ll probably pair Kobbie Mainoo with Casemiro against Newcastle. The only other natural midfielders in Amorim’s team are Christian Eriksen and Toby Collyer, who is 20 years old.
Ruben Amorim, the head coach of Manchester United, said he was “frustrated” that Bruno Fernandes got a red card in Thursday’s 2-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Two minutes into the second half, the United captain got his second yellow card. This totally changed the course of the game, as Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan scored goals to hand the Red Devils another crushing loss.
It was Fernandes’ third red card of the season. He had already been sent off against Tottenham Hotspur and Porto, though the first one was later overturned on appeal. Since Nemanja Vidic in 2008–09, United player has been sent off so many times in a single season.
Even though Amorim was mad that Fernandes had to leave the game early, he wouldn’t be too harsh on the player for what he saw as a mistake.
Amorim told the press, “I will always be angry with a red card, but it can happen.”
“He meant to get the ball.” With a yellow, he didn’t want to stop a play; he just wants to get to the ball. It was hit by the other player who touched the ball first. Also, that thing is hard on him.
