There have been reports that Manchester United are mulling over the possibility of acquiring Parma goalkeeper Zion Suzuki. During Erik ten Hag’s tenure as manager of Manchester United, Suzuki came very close to joining the Red Devils.

Parma was Suzuki’s top priority in the end, despite the fact that Manchester United was interested in signing him in the summer of 2023 and that he was connected with the Premier League club once more in the summer of 2023.

The new manager of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim, is currently searching the market for a new goalkeeper to join the team. Stoppers Atlay Bayindir and Tom Heaton, who are considered to be the second and third choices, are rumored to be on the verge of leaving Old Trafford either this month or the following summer.

Marco Molla, a journalist, claims that Manchester United is still keeping Suzuki in their sights. Molla makes the observation that Suzuki had a “video call” with Ten Hag in the year 2023, prior to the latter’s ultimate decision to refuse the opportunity to switch to the Red Devils.

In addition, Bayern Munich is rumored to be “interested” in the 22-year-old player, and it is possible that a “battle” will take place for his signature during the summer of 2019.

It is possible that Manchester United would be interested in signing Suzuki this month; however, Parma will not permit him to leave the club in the middle of the season because they are fighting relegation.

Suzuki has made 17 appearances for Parma in the league so far this season, during which time he has allowed 29 goals while maintaining two clean sheets.

When Suzuki is mentioned, Bayindir is hesitant to leave Manchester United.

Despite the fact that Heaton, who is 38 years old, is anticipated to go, Suzuki may still be on Manchester United’s shortlist, and the club may make a play for him during the summer of next year.

In spite of the fact that there is interest from clubs in the Premier League and Europe, Bayindir’s agent, Sefa Seyrek, has lately stated that the player is interested in remaining at Old Trafford. This is something that should be taken into consideration.

At the beginning of the season, Altay received bids from a number of clubs in Europe and the Premier League, according to Bayindir’s agent on the matter.

Altay is currently being pursued by a number of clubs, but he has expressed his desire to remain with Manchester United and continue playing for the club. There is no doubt that the club does not want to say goodbye to Altay.

It is uncertain whether Suzuki would join Manchester United in order to compete with Bayindir for the position of Amorim’s second-choice goalkeeper if Bayindir were to remain with the club beyond the current season.

In contrast to what has been reported, TEAMtalk has it on good authority that Amorim is extremely content with Onana as his first choice, and that the manager has no intention of bringing in a well-known player to take his place.

Man United roundup: Osimhen’s’move’ and the most recent from Kerkez

In the meantime, there are reports that say that Victor Osimhen, a striker currently on loan from Napoli, “wants to join Manchester United” and that “preliminary moves” are “already underway” to finalize his deal there.

The struggling pair of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee should be able to compete with a new striker, and Amorim is open to the possibility of acquiring such a player.

The 26-year-old Osimhen is presently in the middle of a loan that will last the entire season at Galatasaray, the Turkish champions. A break clause is included in the loan agreement for a select group of teams, one of which being Manchester United.

It has been asserted that Osimhen is “enthusiastic” about joining Manchester United in January, and it appears that this sentiment is shared by Amorim’s side, as they are demonstrating “strong interest” in accomplishing a monumental winter transfer deal.

In other news, Manchester United are seeking to acquire a new left defender this month, and Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez is one of their top targets. However, Liverpool is also keeping an eye on him.

As was previously reported, Bournemouth does not anticipate keeping hold of the 21-year-old for an extended period of time. Furthermore, the fact that they have recently acquired left-back Julio Soler gives rise to the possibility that Kerkez will be leaving the club in the very near future.
