In spite of the fact that he only joined Chelsea on a permanent basis in the summer of last year, Joao Felix may be willing to leave the club, according to sources who spoke to TEAMtalk. Chelsea is open to receiving bids for several of their players this month.

Due to the fact that Felix has only started three Premier League games since his transfer from Atletico Madrid, the Blues are willing to sell stars who are not a part of Enzo Maresca’s long-term ambitions.

Based on information obtained by TEAMtalk, the forward, who is 25 years old, is reportedly contemplating his choices as the winter transfer window continues to progress, with a number of major clubs keeping an eye on him.

Felix was a signing that was negotiated and made by the Chelsea administration, and since then, he has found himself out of favor with the new boss Maresca.

Felix is currently in a position of inferiority to other players, such as Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku, and there does not appear to be any indication that his circumstances are likely to improve.

Felix’s playing possibilities could be reduced even further if Chelsea decides to bring in younger talent, which would force him to leave the club. Chelsea is also actively hunting for younger talent that they can bring in.

According to sources told by TEAMtalk, Felix has a deep affection for Chelsea and was overjoyed to be back at Stamford Bridge. However, it is becoming increasingly apparent that he may need to move on in order to rekindle his career.

As a result, Chelsea will make an effort to deflect criticism for what some people view to be a wasted transfer because it was perceived as a low-risk bargain transaction.

As a result of Felix’s falling out of favor with Diego Simeone, the manager of Atletico, the agreement was reached. It was during the second part of the 2022/23 season that he had previously played for Chelsea on loan. During that time, he totaled twenty appearances and scored four goals.

It remains to be seen whether any real bids are submitted for Felix this month; however, sources have made it abundantly apparent that the Portuguese international has “major suitors,” and he will not be short of offers if he becomes available.

In an interview that took place in October, Felix stated, “We have a wide variety of talented players here, and I had a conversation with Enzo before I signed with Chelsea.”

What he said to me, the way he thinks about football, and the way he plays are all things that I found to be appealing. Although I was aware that the competition would be difficult, I am here to work.

I have a clear understanding of what I can contribute to the team, as well as what I am capable of doing.
