There are two conditions that Manchester United must fulfill before they can give their approval for Marcus Rashford to leave the club, and a report has explained how AC Milan will react to each of these conditions.

During the current month, a number of clubs, including AC Milan, are considering the possibility of acquiring Marcus Rashford on loan. With the earnings from agreements for homegrown talents being treated as “pure profit” on the balance sheet, Manchester United would prefer a permanent sale to strengthen their spending capacity.

With Rashford being paid a solid £325,000 per week and being valued by Manchester United at somewhere in the neighborhood of £50 million, European clubs will have a difficult time financing a permanent transfer in the middle of the season.

An option or obligation to purchase could be included in a loan, which could be considered a satisfactory compromise. There is competition from Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, and Juventus; nonetheless, Milan is currently in the lead in the line.

On Wednesday evening, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano announced that Milan’s agents and Rashford’s brother, Dwaine Maynard, who also serves as Rashford’s agent, have met in person. Romano made this announcement when appearing on X.

Romano stated that Milan had “presented their project” to Rashford’s brother, regardless of the fact that Milan had not yet submitted an official bid to Manchester United.

Milan is now aware of two conditions that Manchester United will insist are met before agreeing a move, according to a second report from The Times. Milan is aware of these requests.

According to them, United is “almost certain to demand a loan fee,” which, by itself, is not likely to be a factor that prevents a deal from being formed. Nevertheless, the second demand raises the possibility that a move of Rashford to Milan will not be successful.

It has been stated that Manchester United is “insisting” that the purchasing club must take on the “majority” of Rashford’s weekly wage of 385,000 pounds.

Following this, it is asserted that Milan is “expected to tell Manchester United that they will only pay half of Marcus Rashford’s wages during any potential loan spell.”

The first half of Rashford’s weekly salary is 162,500 pounds. Rashford, who earns £162,500 per week, would surpass Alvaro Morata, who earns £150,000 per week, as Milan’s highest paid player if a deal were come to an agreement on a wage split of 50/50 respectively.

If this is the case, then it is probably understandable why Milan is unwilling to take on an even larger portion of Rashford’s earnings considering that the club has already made a significant commitment to pay half of his paycheck.

In light of this, The Times said that Milan is “already prepared to reject” Manchester United’s demands in their existing shape.

As of right now, it is not entirely obvious whether or not this will be the end of Milan’s interest. It would make sense for Manchester United to listen to what other teams have to say before evaluating whether or not to drop their demands, given that there are a large number of other powerful bidders in the mix.
