Absolute ‘dream’ INEOS target revealed as star issues Man Utd bullish transfer demand

According to one transfer writer, Manchester United is still holding out hope that they will be able to complete a statement move for Victor Osimhen this year, despite the fact that it will be a difficult deal to pull off.
Osimhen was the focus of a great deal of conjecture over the summer of last year. Additionally, he engaged in negotiations with Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Saudi teams. Meanwhile, Antonio Conte, the manager of Napoli, replaced him by acquiring Romelu Lukaku.
Because Osimhen turned down the Saudis and negotiations with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain came to a standstill, the centre striker was left stranded at Napoli.
However, Galatasaray came to Osimhen’s rescue and signed him on a loan for the entire season. Since then, he has scored 13 goals in 17 appearances for Galatasaray to this point.
Because his release clause has been reduced from €130 million (£109.7 million / $133.8 million) to €75 million (£63.3 million / $77.2 million), the 26-year-old player has signed a new deal with Napoli that is intended to make his departure easier.
Although there have been reports that Galatasaray are interested in acquiring Osimhen on a permanent basis, the midfielder has stated that his next goal is to join one of the most prestigious teams in the world.
Ben Jacobs, a writer to TEAMtalk, has disclosed that INEOS and Manchester United bosses would be thrilled to have Osimhen join their team as their new striker. The Nigerian, on the other hand, is adamant that a long-term contract be reached for him, which will need United to wait until the summer to conclude negotiations.
Despite the fact that the release clause has been reduced to €75 million, Victor Osimhen is still a dream target for Manchester United. However, the financial situation is extremely challenging. As Jacobs stated to The United Stand, “January is a month in which nothing is possible.”
It could come off as weird, but Osimhen has not altered his views about anything. It is still his hope that his next relocation will be a permanent one.
The fact that the player “nearly joined Chelsea, nearly joined Saudi, didn’t get either, went temporarily went to Turkey” has not caused him to consider the possibility of a loan with an option has not caused him to think about the possibility of doing so.
By adding, “If you want me, you sign me permanently, whether at that €75 million release clause or a different package like a loan with an obligation,” Victor Osimhen is indicating that he is willing to sign him permanently.
“When you add to it the pay of £250,000 per week, Manchester United may find that too tough to handle.
“This reminds me of the time when they wanted (Harry) Kane in an idealistic sense, but it was not feasible for them to get him in a practical and financial sense. This was due to the fact that (Tottenham chairman) Daniel Levy did not provide them with the same financial resources or deal that Bayern Munich did.
On the other hand, they may investigate that (Osimhen) throughout the summer. To a large extent, everything will be determined by the sort of deal that Napoli are willing to provide, as well as by whether or not Osimhen decides to alter his mind about joining Manchester United on loan with an option.
Victor Osimhen was presented with an offer from Manchester United before to his move to Napoli on the other hand. During that moment, Odion Ighalo was present at the club. He approached Ighalo and said, “Is this the right move for me?”
The response that Ighalo gave was, “No, you won’t get the pathways that are necessary because you’ll be too far down the pecking order.” As a result, Osimhen made the decision to transfer to Napoli, despite the fact that he was very close to joining Manchester United before to his move to Napoli. In other words, the linkages have been there for a considerable amount of time.
United must make a significant striker call.
As a striker for United, Rasmus Hojlund possesses a great deal of promise, despite the fact that he is still young and need assistance. Despite having a difficult beginning to his life in England, backup striker Joshua Zirkzee has decided to remain at Old Trafford for the remainder of this month.
Despite the fact that Randal Kolo Muani, an attacker for Paris Saint-Germain, is currently on the verge of joining Juventus, United had been trying to clinch a loan agreement for him.
United must make a decision over whether to support Ruben Amorim by acquiring a striker at a low cost in January or to wait until the summer and make a full-scale effort to get Osimhen.
If United were to sell players like Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Casemiro, they could be able to match Osimhen’s leave clause. This is true even if the Red Devils are operating closer to their PSR limit.
Rashford is a surprise for Manchester United, and Garnacho is an update
The Rashford drama has taken yet another turn. It is now possible that AC Milan may have difficulty affording his loan transfer.
In order to make place on their pay bill for Rashford, Milan had reached an agreement to sell Noah Okafor to RB Leipzig before the transfer.
On the other hand, Okafor has been unable to pass a medical examination and will now return to Italy, which casts serious question on Milan’s ability to get Rashford.
Garnacho is also a potential departure for Manchester United in the near future, and Rashford is not the only winger who might leave the club in the near future.
According to TEAMtalk, Conte is directing Napoli’s efforts to get Garnacho, who would serve as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is now on his way to Paris Saint-Germain.
TEAMtalk has been informed by insiders that Garnacho’s price tag is really €70 million (£59.1 million or $72 million), despite the fact that other sites have reported that he would be sold for €50 million (£42.2 million or $51.5 million).
