As they try to arrange a move this summer, Manchester United is now prepared to accept a lower price for Jadon Sancho’s services, suggesting that the player’s future is not with them.

For £40 million, Manchester United is willing to let winger Jadon Sancho to depart Old Trafford.

After the winger and Erik ten Hag had a falling out, United had previously refused to back down from their £50 million asking price. According to current reports, the 24-year-old is set to be sold, with a price helping to offset any pressure from the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations, regardless of who leads the team next season.

Sancho advanced to the Champions League final with the Bundesliga team and had a successful loan stint with Borussia Dortmund in the second half of 2023–2024. However, a different financing arrangement would be more appropriate for the German powerhouses.

With two years left on his contract, the Red Devils’ £73 million acquisition will be more negatively impacted by the lowball offer. Since joining United in 2021, Sancho has tallied 12 goals and six assists.

As far as Mirror Football is aware, Sancho expressed a desire to rejoin his parent team this summer. However, there isn’t much doubt that he wouldn’t succeed under Ten Hag in the northwest.

It was reported that the England international was hesitant to end his career at United. Sancho remains optimistic about his career, as evidenced by his assistance in getting Dortmung to Wembley to play Real Madrid in the Champions League.

With Juventus already connected, United now seems determined to make a transfer regardless of who is in charge and may attract interest from Europe. Sancho now has greater assurance than boss Ten Hag.

After the team defeated rival Manchester City in the FA Cup, the Dutch coach is still awaiting word on whether he will be allowed to stay on at Old Trafford. After the season, a swift decision had been anticipated, but it is taking longer than planned.

Thomas Tuchel and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are rumoured to have met to talk about the German manager taking over at United. The former manager of Chelsea and Bayern Munich has subsequently declared that he would reject any offer to take over the Premier League team.
