Chelsea can’t do nothing but watch helplessly as Enzo Fernandez gets punished for his disgustingly racist shouting. The Blues have the opportunity to take the initiative and exhibit their real colours by setting the example for eliminating it.

A hefty fine, money donated to the Kick It Out initiative, and an extended absence from the starting lineup should make it clear that the residents of west London are against bigotry of any kind.

It is not appropriate to wait for the FA, FIFA, UEFA, or CONMEBOL to take action.

Since the FA is meant to oversee football in this nation, they too must handle Fernandez.

The Argentine must follow our regulations and code of conduct because he has decided to do his trade here, and that chant is totally inappropriate.

An apology that ends with “It does not reflect my beliefs or character” is insufficient.

It cannot be disregarded with a single social media post.

Let’s do it correctly. Fernandez regrets being discovered, not that he sang those lines.

Wesley Fofana showed great bravery when he made the historic decision to confront his Chelsea teammate about his “uninhibited racism.”

However, Fofana and a few of his teammates shouldn’t have to fight this battle by themselves.

Chelsea needs to take a stand and demonstrate their seriousness.

Manchester United has done a fantastic job of earning £25 million for an ineffective asset.

Mason Greenwood needed to be sold or released, and allowing him to return would have done a great deal of damage to the club’s reputation.

Instead of waiting a full year to sign the forward for nothing, Marseille gave nearly half of the transfer fee to Leny Yoro when he arrived at Old Trafford.
