David de Gea hinted about his future plans, although he has ruled out one specific deal.

David de Gea has unequivocally rejected the possibility of a transfer this summer, suggesting his interest in joining a different team.

The Spaniard remains unattached to any club, over a year after departing from Manchester United when his contract ended.

De Gea concluded a 12-year affiliation with United and penned a heartfelt statement affirming his exit in July 2023.

United recruited Andre Onana from Inter Milan as a substitute for De Gea, who, despite allegedly receiving numerous offers, remains without a team.

However, it seems that the circumstances of the 33-year-old individual might be undergoing a change in the near future.

De Gea insinuated his intention to resume playing football on Saturday by using the hourglass emoji on X, previously referred to as Twitter.

As per The Athletic, the social media post has credibility.

According to the article, De Gea has been offered contracts by a team in Saudi Arabia, one in the United States, and another in Italy.

In the past Newcastle United were heavily linked with the former Atletico Madrid shotstopper and it is mentioned that a club from England have shown an interest.

However, it is noted that De Gea does not wish to play for another English side due to his loyalty to United and their fans.

He is expecting an update on his future next week after a full year without any action in between the sticks.

De Gea, who was 21 years old at the time, joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in 2011 for a transfer fee of £18.9 million. During his time at the club, he had success by winning the Premier League, the FA Cup, two League Cups, and the Europa League.

He achieved a club-record of 545 appearances as a custodian, maintaining 190 clean sheets throughout that period. Additionally, he received two Premier League Golden Glove trophies and was selected for the PFA Team of the Year five times
