“He’s better Kobbie Mainoo…Anytime he play, everyone got surprised”: Casemiro hails ‘complete’ Man United gem who could dominate at Old Trafford for 15 years, it’s high praise

This season, Manchester United has seen three young players step up and become key members of the squad. Casemiro has now praised one of them.

Casemiro, one of Manchester United’s most seasoned players and leaders on the field, has been complimenting his young teammate recently.

For the past two months, Casemiro has been playing in midfield with the incredibly gifted Kobbie Mainoo.

The two have their problems, with Casemiro having trouble both on and off the ball, which has left United vulnerable in every match.

The Brazilian, though, has now shared his opinions on his teenage midfield partner. This is what he said:

Kobbie Mainoo is praised by Casemiro.
In an interview with Inside United, the team’s official monthly magazine, Casemiro gushed about Mainoo, his 18-year-old midfield partner.

The Brazilian said, “For those of us who work with him, it’s been no surprise to see him score and play really well in games.”

“I believe we have a complete player in Kobbie; he is a ball-chasing, aggressive player who looks after the ball.”

Mainoo has a “good head he has on his shoulders,” the Brazilian went on to say, and this will serve him well for a long and successful career leading the midfield at Old Trafford.

“I think Manchester United has a great player for the next 15 years if Kobbie keeps up this mentality, keeps working hard in the gym, and does things the right way.”

True, Casemiro, but Manchester United needs to take his place.

Although Casemiro is right when he says that Mainoo has a lot of potential, he is probably nearing the end of his time playing alongside the English midfielder.

Additionally, “I don’t see Arteta as a coach…he has the best player in the world but didn’t use him” : Arteta claimed to be a good coach despite not using the “world’s best player.”
To properly partner Mainoo, United needs to make the right midfield acquisitions this summer.

If Ineos makes the right signing, they could set up the entire midfield for ten years. Joao Neves’ arrival, for instance, would be ideal as a partner for Mainoo or even Amadou Onana.

Casemiro might decide to leave this summer, particularly if Saudi Arabia shows interest.
