Before the big matchup with Arsenal next weekend, Manchester City star Kyle Walker has now been praising an Arsenal player.

Mikel Arteta’s only prayer at this moment will be for all of his Arsenal players to stay injury-free throughout their international matches.

Next Sunday, Arsenal not only has to travel to the Etihad, but they also have a vital match against Bayern Munich to attend.

The season’s “business end” is rapidly approaching, and Arsenal cannot afford to lose any of their important players.

Having said that, it is true that Gabriel Magalhaes and Bukayo Saka both recently left their positions as international players.

Fortunately, it appears that neither player will be a serious doubt for Arsenal’s trip to play Man City, which makes Kyle Walker’s recent remarks especially relevant.

In Rio Ferdinand’s FIVE podcast, Walker has been praising his England colleague ahead of their match against Saka the following weekend.

Saka and Walker have been teammates for England for a while. Walker stated that Saka had accomplished a great deal for a player of his age.

Walker stated on the podcast that Saka had also been outstanding, but that Phil Foden was the best young player he had ever played with.

Walker acknowledged, “But I think B’s amazing.” B is also very good, in my opinion. He’s an extremely skilled direct winger.

“And I believe his stats are excellent for England considering what he’s accomplished for the country at such a young age.”

Walker will undoubtedly be happy that Saka won’t be facing him down the right side against Arsenal on Sunday.

Either Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard ought to be playing right back, hoping to lead Arsenal to a victory that would significantly increase their chances of winning the league.

With bated breath, fans will be watching the remaining internationals, hoping they all return healthy and prepared for that seismic fixture that wasn’t very forgiving the previous season.

Having said that, a former Arsenal player has acknowledged that he hardly ever watches the team’s games these days.
