Arsenal will have a busy summer ahead of them, and while new players will be important, some players may also be leaving.

This summer, the Gunners want to bolster their roster, but even if the team prioritises that goal, Edu and company are aware that many players may also need to depart.

Really, Arsenal is eager to sell permanently. They have a handful of homegrown players, such Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe, who would represent pure profit, and they want to balance the books.

Other than those two, though, there are a few more who might be leaving soon.

Although Arsenal prefers long-term agreements, they can also be open to loaning out certain players.

Aaron Ramsdale, the £24 million custodian, is one of them.

Aaron Ramsdale, the £24 million custodian, is one of them.

Because there aren’t enough purchasers, Arsenal may have to loan Aaron Ramsdale out.
The Gunners are looking for someone to take Ramsdale off their hands this summer, ideally on a full-time basis, according to a report from The Mirror.

The club has acknowledged that Ramsdale may need to be allowed to move on loan, though, and that is now a possibility being explored.

When Ramsdale joined Arsenal from Sheffield United, he was the team’s best custodian; however, David Raya has since replaced him.

Even though Mikel Arteta has continuously hinted that both might play, Raya is clearly the top guy right now.

Newcastle United and other teams are keeping an eye on Ramsdale, but the Mags are also having issues with FFP and PSR.

So in this case, a loan arrangement might be the best choice for everyone.

Ramsdale participated in Friday night’s 1-0 loss to Iceland as a member of England’s Euro 2024 squad.

It is anticipated that prior to the 2026 World Cup, he will request to leave Arsenal in order to play for a first-team squad.
