OFFICIAL: AS Roma have confirmed the signing of highly rated Algerian midfielder Houssem Aouar on a free transfer.
Houssem Aouar, an Algerian midfielder, left Ligue 1 team Lyon to sign a free transfer with AS Roma.
After losing to Sevilla in the Europa League final, Mourinho is reorganising his team for the upcoming campaign, and Aouar signs a five-year contract to join Roma.

“With a large club, talented players, and a distinct fan base, I believe this is the project that’s appropriate for me. “I’m ready to go as a Giallorossi player,” Aouar declared in a statement.
The 24-year-old was previously linked to transfers to Tottenham and Arsenal, but the move to the Premier League never happened.
Aouar is about to embark on a new challenge in Serie A by joining Jose Mourinho’s Roma team.
