Jadon Sancho, a Manchester United loanee, indirectly addressed Erik ten Hag following his role in securing Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League semifinal spot.

With a 2-0 aggregate victory over PSG, Dortmund secured their spot in the championship game at Wembley Stadium next month thanks to a header from Mats Hummels in the second half. With the victory, the Bundesliga team will play Real Madrid or Bayern Munich on Saturday, June 1.

After a subpar start to the season, few predicted Sancho would advance to the final two of the elite European competition. This represents a significant accomplishment for the forward. Ten Hag banished him in September due to remarks he made on social media.

The United manager stated that the winger was not selected for the team that played Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium that month due to his training performances. Sancho maintained that the manager had used him as a “scapegoat” and denied that there was a problem with his training.

Even though Sancho removed the social media post, he did not apologize to Ten Hag, which kept him from practicing with the starting squad. He stayed out of action until January, when he returned to Dortmund on loan to finish the season.

Dortmund’s official Instagram account posted a photo of Sancho having fun in Paris with American rapper Drake superimposed on it to celebrate the team’s run to the championship. “To the rest of you, the non-believers, the underachievers, the tweet and deleters… You guys make me sick to my stomach,” Drake is heard saying in the brief video.

“LOL FACTS!” was Sancho’s response to the post. Even though this post might not be directed at any one person, given Sancho’s tense relationship with Ten Hag and United right now, it is reasonable to assume that they are two potential targets.
