Jamie Carragher identifies five upcoming Arsenal matches that have the potential to hinder their chances of winning the Premier League title.
Jamie Carragher, a former Liverpool defender, has identified five specific matches that he believes might have a significant impact on Arsenal’s pursuit of winning the Premier League.
Arsenal is competing fiercely with Liverpool and Manchester City for the league championship. Arsenal now occupies the third position, trailing Liverpool by two points and one point behind second-placed Man City.
Arsenal will be hosting Brentford at the Emirates Stadium for the Saturday evening kick-off this weekend. The game occurs before to the match between Liverpool and Man City at Anfield on Sunday.
If the Gunners defeat the Bees, Mikel Arteta’s team would ascend to the summit of the Premier League standings, holding that position for a minimum of 24 hours. If Liverpool and Man City draw, Arsenal will remain in their current position until at least the next weekend.
Following their match against Brentford, Arsenal will next welcome Porto for the second leg of the Champions League round of 16. Arsenal’s upcoming match will be their last one before the international break, and they will face Man City on March 31 in their following game.
