Jude Bellingham has commended Kobbie Mainoo’s performance for England against Belgium and is confident that the young Manchester United player has a promising future in the sport.

On Tuesday night at Wembley, the English national football team, known as the Three Lions, appeared to be on track for a second consecutive loss. This was due to two goals scored by Youri Tielemans in the first half. However, in the 95th minute, Bellingham scored a goal to secure a 2-2 tie.

Mainoo, who made his first appearance as a substitute against Brazil on Saturday, was given his first start against Belgium, who are appropriately nicknamed the Red Devils, and delivered an impressive performance.

Bellingham has observed Mainoo’s exceptional performance in the encounter, when the 18-year-old displayed composure and agility, ultimately contributing to England’s first goal. As a result, Bellingham is confident that Mainoo has a promising future ahead of him.

When asked about Mainoo’s performance, Bellingham responded to Channel 4 by saying, “Yes, he was excellent tonight, he performed well.”

‘It is challenging. Although I may sound experienced, I understand the difficulty that arises when there is a strong demand and people exert significant pressure on you.

‘I don’t want to exacerbate the situation, but he is undoubtedly an exceptional player and he will have a remarkable future at Manchester United, and hopefully for the English national team as well.’

Bellingham expressed his satisfaction with his own last-minute equalizer, stating that he appreciated it because he was aware of the criticism that would have been directed against the team if they had lost two consecutive games.

‘When it comes to these games, it is important to maintain a sense of perspective. Many players are making their debuts, and I have not played with many of these boys before.’

‘We generated numerous opportunities, one of which I should have converted into a goal, and I also had a few other attempts on target.’

‘I am pleased that I was able to compensate for my previous performance with the squad. However, considering the numerous opportunities that both myself, Phil [Foden], and Kobbie had, we should be achieving victory.’

‘These two games will greatly benefit us as we prepare for the Euros.’

‘I anticipate that there will be a pessimistic response to this, but it is important to approach these games with objectivity. We should focus on the favorable aspects, extract valuable lessons from the unfavorable ones, and I am confident that we will overcome any challenges.’
