Liverpool fans convinced Mo Salah is leaving the club after hearing what he’s just said ahead of Newcastle clash
After listening to Mohamed Salah’s most recent comments regarding his future with Liverpool, the fans of the club are experiencing a great deal of concern.
An increasing number of Liverpool supporters are becoming increasingly concerned about the possibility that star players Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, and Mohamed Salah will all leave the club as free agents this summer. There are only three seasons left in the season.
It is believed that negotiations for all three players have been going on since the beginning of the season; however, as of right now, none of the players have made any announcements regarding new contracts with the club.
After hearing the Egyptian’s concerning comments in his most recent interview, Liverpool supporters believe that they have been dealt a fresh blow to their hopes of Salah remaining with the club. This is because fans have heard the comments.
For the time being, Salah is having what could be considered his best season as a Liverpool player. He has already made 38 appearances for the Reds, during which he has scored an incredible 30 goals and assisted on 21 others.
As the season has progressed, he has been very open and transparent about the negotiations he is having regarding his future. He has made it abundantly clear that, as things currently stand, he will be leaving in the summer.
In his most recent interview with Steve McManaman, a legendary figure in the history of Liverpool, it seems that he has reaffirmed his commitment to this idea as he reflected on his career with Liverpool up to this point.
“I want fans to remember that I gave it all to the fans,” Salah said in an interview with TNT Sports.
I handed over everything to the city. Yes, I was present; I wasn’t sluggish; I simply took pleasure in playing football and gave it my all.
“I believe that this is what the city is all about: they love you, and you have a connection with them because you give your all to them.
“I just want them to remember that I was here for eight years and I gave it all.”
The next step that McManaman took was to enquire directly about Salah’s future plans, to which the celebrity responded, “In a very polite way [no].”
“We’re not ready for a goodbye just yet, Mohamed,” one fan wrote in response to the comments that were posted on multiple social media platforms.
Although I concurred, I wrote that it seemed as though he was getting us ready for our departure.
Additionally, a fan who was dissatisfied with the situation stated, “It would be unforgivable if Salah left at the end of the season.” An action is required from the FSG.
