Man united backed to complete the signing of £80m Everton star who has ‘Better Value for Money’ Than £60m Nice defender ahead of summer transfer
Manchester United is said to be actively seeking to acquire Jarrad Branthwaite and Jean-Clair Todibo, although it appears that Branthwaite may offer a more favorable cost-benefit ratio.
United may give priority to signing a defender because the futures of Jonny Evans and Raphael Varane are unknown.
Everton’s Branthwaite might provide superior cost-effectiveness compared to Todibo.
Manchester United is said to have expressed interest in signing both Jean-Clair Todibo, a defender from Nice, and Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton during the upcoming summer transfer window. Journalist Ben Jacobs has provided an explanation to GIVEMESPORT as to why Branthwaite would offer greater value for the money.
The Red Devils may prioritize acquiring another center-back when the market becomes active, given the unclear futures of some of their present defenders.
Erik ten Hag has faced difficulties this season in finding a suitable player for a specific position. Jonny Evans, an experienced defender, has been frequently used by ten Hag due to injuries sustained by Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
Branthwaite and Todibo have both been associated with potential transfers to Old Trafford. United will need to decide in the upcoming summer transfer window whether to actively pursue any of these center-back options.
The Red Devils will likely avoid allocating their whole money to a single signing, since ten Hag requires reinforcements in several areas of his squad.
Branthwaite and Todibo are being considered as potential signings for Manchester United.
According to Italian writer Fabrizio Romano, who was a guest on the Here We Go podcast, it has been disclosed that Manchester United have not yet presented a new contract to Varane. Consequently, his future is uncertain at present, and he is likely to leave in the summer when his contract expires.
If the Red Devils fail to provide new contract conditions, Evans is also expected to go, leaving ten Hag with little choices in the central defense position.
According to recent sources, it has been claimed that Everton’s young player Branthwaite has become a prominent target for United during this summer.
It is highly likely that the England youth international will look for a new opportunity after the season, regardless of whether the Toffees remain in the Premier League.
The Manchester team has a longstanding interest in the former player from Carlisle.
Esteemed journalist Romano has also informed GIVEMESPORT that Manchester United have a high regard for Nice defender Todibo. The French team is also under the ownership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who just obtained a 25% share in Old Trafford.
The Italian writer anticipates that United would actively pursue Todibo during the upcoming summer transfer window, in addition to considering Leny Yoro and Antonio Silva as potential targets.
