Man United in talks with £60m Brazilian star to become first summer signing as Sir Jim Ratcliffe steps up transfer plan

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the owner of Manchester United, is increasing his efforts to get a prominent Brazilian player for Old Trafford.

Manchester United is currently engaged in negotiations on the potential acquisition of a prominent Brazilian player, who would be the inaugural signing under the ownership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

The wealthy owner of INEOS successfully finalized his acquisition this season. However, given there were no new additions in January, the anticipated transformation is expected to commence this summer. The future of Erik ten Hag remains uncertain, as does the status of numerous members of the playing group.

However, amidst the buzz around potential acquisitions, it appears quite probable that the Red Devils are poised for a comprehensive restructuring, involving numerous arrivals and departures.

The Italian publication Calciomercato.Manchester United has escalated its communication with Gleison Bremer in an effort to gain an advantage over the other teams in the Premier League.

According to the Express, the Juventus player engaged in discussions with Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea in 2022. All three clubs are reportedly still keen in signing a center-back this summer. If Manchester United’s alleged talks for a transfer were to take place, it would give them a significant advantage in securing the Brazilian player’s signature.

According to FourFourTwo, Bremer would be an appropriate substitute for Harry Maguire. It is speculated that any discussions on Bremer are probably related to his contract, rather than negotiations with Juventus, considering the rumored release clause for the player.

Gleison Bremer, a player for Juventus FC, maintains possession of the ball in the Serie A TIM game between Juventus and US Sassuolo.

Considering the range of Bremer’s release clause, which is estimated to be between £43m and £58m, it is possible that he is being considered as a secondary choice to someone like Jarrad Branthwaite, who has also been rumored to join the 20-time English champions.
