Marcus Rashford set Ruben Amorim challenge after sending early message to new Man Utd boss

Marcus Rashford has been cautioned that he must demonstrate in a short amount of time that he is capable of being a pivotal figure for the younger players at Manchester United.

As well as this, Teddy Sheringham, a former striker, is urging Rashford, who is now struggling, to quickly buy into the ways that Ruben Amorim, the new manager, is using.

Rashford has been receiving criticism for his trip to New York City last week, as he continues to be excluded from consideration for England. This comes after a season in which he has demonstrated a consistent tendency to deceive those around him.

Last week, a commentator named Troy Deeney attacked the 27-year-old player for being a negative influence on United’s less experienced stars due to an apparent attitude issue. The player has only scored one goal in the Premier League so far this season. On the other hand, Sheringham thinks that Rashford must now take a stand and be counted.

I am looking at these United guys, and although they may not be aware of it or might not even be aware of it, they want leadership. One of the things that Marcus Rashford needs to do is look at the manager and think to himself, “I like the way he’s talking; I like his vibe; I understand exactly what he wants, and we need to go out and do it.” In an interview with Best Offshore Sportsbooks, Sheringham has stated, “I am going to lead from the front.”

“When younger players saw Rashford, they would think to themselves, ‘If you’re going to show me how it’s done, I’m following you as well.'” Don’t be shy; let’s all go together, shall we? [Amorim] has to move rapidly in order to get the support of the best players in the league.

Because everyone looks up to him, you should utilise Rashford as your primary example. People look at him and think, “He ain’t at it, is he?” because he is the one who is going to score your goals and make goals, and he is the one who is going to make goals.

Therefore, it is necessary for him to ensure that he is on board and that he is leading from the front. This young man is no longer a young lad. He has a lot of expertise as a player. It is rather amusing to observe how rapidly you transform from a young boy into an experienced player who is always present. All of a sudden, you find yourself in a position of authority, you take a glance around the locker room, and you are supposed to take the lead.

Although he has played for England on several occasions, he is not leading from the front at Manchester United, despite the fact that he should be doing so. That will need to be altered. Within a relatively short amount of time, he needs to get the support of the best players.

Following his debut game as manager of United, which will take place at Portman Road against Ipswich, it is anticipated that Amorim would instantly switch to the 3-4-3 formation that he favoured while he was at Sporting Lisbon.

Despite the fact that Rashford has only scored four goals and provided three assists in 18 matches so far this season and has not yet been able to gain an England recall, it is not possible to guarantee that he will start.

United is still in 13th place in the league table after 11 games, and their goal differential is the same as before. They are just 11 points ahead of Southampton, who is in last place, and they are 13 points behind Liverpool, who is in first place.
