Napoli open up to Victor Osimhen-Romelu Lukaku swap deal
Napoli, a team from the Serie A, is now considering exchanging Victor Osimhen for Romelu Lukaku during the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to the latest information from Fabrizio Romano via Calcio Napoli 24, Napoli is actively seeking a resolution for Victor Osimhen’s future and has initiated discussions with Chelsea on a possible exchange trade involving Osimhen and Lukaku.
The Nigerian forward has accepted Paris Saint-Germain’s offer, which matches his release clause. However, negotiations have been delayed by Napoli in order to evaluate the potential offer from Chelsea.
An exchange of players without any monetary transaction is unlikely due to the significant difference in the players’ respective worth. The Belgian’s personal terms are not likely to pose any issues, as he is eager to return to Serie A, where he revitalised his career last season with Roma.
Chelsea plan to sell Lukaku during the upcoming summer transfer window since they are unable to accommodate him in their team due to the presence of other highly competitive players. Regardless of whether the Premier League team withdraws, Napoli will still have PSG ready to acquire Osimhen.
