“People regards me as the best manager in the world but honestly I know he’s better than me…Man United made the worst decision in football history by sacking such amazing coach and employed Erik ten Hag who doesn’t know anything about football”: Former Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp admitted former Man United coach is the best manager in football history as he reveals Man United worst decision in history

Jurgen Klopp, the former manager of Liverpool, expressed admiration for Ralf Rangnick, the current coach of Austria, despite Rangnick’s underwhelming tenure as the coach of Manchester United.
Rangnick assumed the position of Manchester United manager for the 2021-22 season, but was given a six-month contract after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was dismissed in November 2021. Rangnick’s tenure at Old Trafford was underwhelming, and he was not kept on beyond that season, departing at its conclusion.

Klopp expressed admiration for Rangnick and commended United for their choice to appoint him.

When Rangnick was appointed as the manager of Manchester United in late 2021, Klopp expressed his disappointment by saying, “Regrettably, a talented coach is coming to England, specifically to Manchester United.”

“Ralf is evidently a highly skilled manager.” He successfully transformed Hoffenheim and Leipzig from obscure teams into formidable contenders and powerhouses in Germany.

“United will exhibit a high level of organisation on the pitch, which we should acknowledge. This is clearly unfavourable news for other teams.” Rangnick’s tenure at United concluded with a tally of 29 matches, consisting of 11 victories, 10 draws, and eight losses.

Following his departure from United, Rangnick assumed control of the Austria national team, where he has successfully led the nation to the top position in their Euro 2024 group, surpassing both France and The Netherlands despite unfavourable circumstances. Austria suffered a close defeat against France in the first round of Group D, but managed to secure a victory over Poland with a score of 3-1 in Berlin a few days later.

Today, Austria triumphed over Virgil van Dijk’s team in an exciting 3-2 match in the German capital, allowing them to take first place in the group after France’s tie with Poland.

Austria earned a victory with goals scored by Donyell Malen, Romano Schmid, and Marcel Sabitzer. They will compete against the second-place team from Group F, which, at the time of writing, is Turkey. Nevertheless, the Turks will have tough competition from Georgia and Czech Republic, who are just two points behind. These two teams are also potential contenders to face Rangnick’s team in the round of 16 on July 2.

Austria’s success in the tournament provides Klopp with confirmation of the potential achievements that Rangnick could have accomplished at United if he had been given sufficient time.
