Reason Why Bruno Fernandes returns to Manchester United early after being released by Portugal

Bruno Fernandes will not play in Portugal’s upcoming encounter against Croatia on Monday as he returns to Manchester United.

As his country defeated Poland 5-1 in the Nations League last night, the United captain was in outstanding form.

The highlight for the player, whose comeback to form has come at just the right time, was a brilliant strike from outside the area that went straight into the top of the Polish net.

Additionally, head coach Roberto Martinez released Fernandes, along with Cristiano Ronaldo, Pedro Neto, and Bernardo Silva, in order to give some fringe players a chance against the Croats on Monday.
