REVEALED: Arsenal next five Premier League fixtures compared to Liverpool and Man City in title race – AS Arteta side faces stronger side that could cause them the league after international break

At Emirates Stadium, Arsenal overcame a late deficit to defeat Southampton in Premier League play. The game was turned on its head by goals from Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka after Cameron Archer scored the first goal against the flow of play.

Saka’s effort to regain possession in the offensive third and play Havertz through was enough to earn them an equalizer, as it flew past Aaron Ramsdale. Saka again provided the assist for the game-changing goal, which came from a deep cross that Martinelli tucked in at the far post.

With the victory, Arsenal was able to maintain their lead over Manchester City and Liverpool. Saka finished off his outstanding performance in the closing moments of the game by firing home after Yukinari Sugawara made a mistake. Mikel Arteta has some time to concentrate on things at London Colney before others depart to represent their different countries, as the October international break is about to start.

Gaining three more points against a team that was just promoted will have been crucial for Arsenal as they go ready for a string of difficult games in October and November. Having said that, football.london has compared the next matches for each of the three contenders for the championship.

With three pivotal games coming up in October, Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League title will be put to the test. The Gunners play Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium before that horror run starts, and it will be a difficult match to handle.

The defending Premier League champions will be hoping to win all five of their upcoming games and earn a maximum of points. As they get ready to take on two winless teams, City have a very favorable run-in compared to the games that await Liverpool and Arsenal.

Even though they have been struggling lately, their away match against Brighton will not be easy, and in November, Pep Guardiola’s notorious squad Tottenham will also visit Etihad Stadium.
