According to Anders Limpar, he “would love” to see the sporting phenomenon Viktor Gyokeres take the next significant step in his career by completing a “crazy” move to Arsenal.

As a result of Gyokeres’ incredible goalscoring exploits while playing for Sporting, the striker has become one of the most sought-after commodities in European football. According to reports, Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs who have shown a significant amount of interest in the striker in recent months.

And despite the fact that Gyokeres’ current release clause is set at 83 million pounds, it is believed that Sporting might be willing to make a deal for as low as 63 million pounds for their prized property at the conclusion of the season.

The transfer of Ruben Amorim from Sporting to Manchester United has only served to stoke the flames of conjecture that Gyokeres would soon follow in Amorim’s footsteps and join his old manager at Old Trafford.

Limpar, a former midfielder for Arsenal and Sweden, has expressed his desire to see his fellow countryman, a player whom he had previously coached at Brommapojkarna, play for the Gunners in the event that he decides to move on from the Portuguese top division.

Personally, I am extremely familiar with Gyokeres, and at the time that he was playing for Brommapojkarna, I served as a mentor to him. Ludwig Augustinsson was also a member of that team. I have had a lot of conversations with him concerning his work life,’ Limpar said in an interview with FotbollDirekt.

To put it simply, he is a very hard-working forward who scores a great deal of goals.

When we at Arsenal make the decision to purchase Gyokeres, he will most certainly get in touch with me. At that point, however, it would be insane to envision Gyokeres playing for Arsenal.

According to his work rate, he is a crazed individual. In situations where things do not go according to Viktor’s plan, he makes his way into the game by going through painful runs.

In situations where other top strikers are not performing well, they tend to store their energy and not put in as much effort for the team. Viktor, on the other hand, never reserves his energy. The fact that he is able to push his way into a game with runs when things are a little sluggish is the reason why it has become so successful. On the basis of Gyokeres’s recent exploits against Manchester City and his prior stint with Coventry City, Limpar is convinced that Gyokeres might make the transition into Premier League football.

“We have to keep in mind that the Portuguese league is not as good as the Premier League,” he said. “However, when Manchester City came to visit Lisbon, he scored a hat-trick, which means that he is fully capable of scoring in England.”

Because he has scored goals while playing for Coventry, he is familiar with the attitude of the English.

I believe that his next step is to play in the Premier League, where he will have the unique opportunity to select the team that he would like to play for.Based on the fact that Gyokeres, a Swedish international player, has scored 23 goals in just 18 games for Sporting this season, it was believed that Barcelona was among the teams who were keeping an eye on him.

Nevertheless, Deco, the sports director of Barcelona, refuted the speculations in an interview with Mundo Deportivo earlier this month. He said that the striker was not one of their “priorities.”

Deco stated that he feels he is a good player and that he has been scoring goals in Portugal for a considerable amount of time.

We are familiar with him, just like other people, but he is not a priority at the moment. We are searching for a No. 9 to replace Robert Lewandowski because we want him to continue to smile, continue to score goals, and at the very least continue to play for us for another season.
