Arsenal
The latest transfer news from Arsenal: Despite the fact that Viktor Gyokeres is the star player who will come and revolutionise everything at the club, the Gunners have been given the go-ahead for the transfer, and it is expected to be signed before the week is up.
There have been two players acquired by Arsenal during the summer transfer window so far, but it is anticipated that there will be additional movement in the coming weeks for Mikel Arteta’s team.
There is a great deal of work that needs to be done in north London during the transfer window, which is getting closer and closer to its final straights.
Arsenal got off to a strong start in the transfer window by acquiring David Raya from Brentford in a permanent transfer. Additionally, they signed Ricaardo Calafiori from Italy in order to strengthen Arteta’s defensive ranks.
The Gunners are still looking to acquire a striker and a midfielder throughout the summer, and their pursuits of Mikel Merino and Viktor Gyokeres are continuing to go forward despite the fact that they are still in the market for both players. In the meantime, it is still possible that Eddie Nketiah and Aaron Ramsdale, which is the custodian, will leave the club.
Arsenal has been connected with a number of elite forwards this summer, but they were forced to make a change after their prime target, Benjamin Sesko, decided to sign a new contract with Red Bull Leipzig just before the 2024 European Championship.
The forward Viktor Gyokeres, who currently plays for Sporting Lisbon, appears to have a high probability of arriving at the Emirates before the month is over.
Gyokeres, who scored 43 goals in 50 games for Sporting during the previous season, is a player that Arsenal is “very active” on, according to a fresh claim that was published by the Italian news agency Corriere dello Sport.
According to reports, the Gunners are not likely to make a deal for Victor Osimhen, who has not changed his mind about leaving Napoli this summer.

A green light for Merino
As a result of the revelation that Barcelona was attempting to hijack the deal, it appeared as though Arsenal’s pursuit of Mikel Merino would be unsuccessful.
However, it has now come to light that the Spanish giants have given up on their pursuit of the midfielder’s signature due to financial difficulties associated with the situation. Furthermore, in light of the fact that Dani Olmo is expected to come from RB Leipzig in a deal worth £48 million, the manager Hansi Flick has ruled out the possibility of signing Merino.
Due to the fact that Flick was fired, the Gunners now have the opportunity to acquire the services of the 28-year-old player.
Ramsdale will assist in securing a signing.
This summer, it appears that Aaron Ramsdale will be leaving the Emirates to play for another club. The Wolves are apparently one of the clubs that are showing interest in the custodian that Arsenal currently employs.
Additionally, TalkSPORT asserts that the England international is ‘high’ on the list of clubs who are interested in signing him, one of which can be Wolves.
When considering Arsenal’s interest in custodian Dan Bentley, it is possible that they might use this desire as leverage at their disposal.
