Manchester United intend to retain one of their most gifted young players within the first-team squad.
Ethan Wheatley is expected to stay at Manchester United throughout the upcoming summer period, as there are no intentions to send the young player on loan.

Over the last year, the 18-year-old individual from Stockport achieved the esteemed Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year Award, surpassing Joe Hugill and Charlie McNeill in terms of young performance. Since then, the latter player has permanently transferred to Sheffield Wednesday, while Hugill has been loaned to Wigan Athletic.
