Arsenal defeated Southampton 3-1 at home on Saturday to maintain their lead over Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League standings.
The Gunners were hardly out of second gear at the Emirates until Cameron Archer’s goal just after halftime, but Kai Havertz quickly leveled the score.

Arsenal took the lead for the first time through substitute Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka secured all three points with a late third.



Dom Smith was present at the Emirates Stadium to evaluate the performance of the Arsenal players.


David Raya, age six

had little involvement other than Southampton’s goal, which Archer shot in. In the second half, one excellent save.

Saka Bukayo 9

Finished the season with his seventh and eighth assists, the second of which was a peach into Martinelli. Then, with a brilliant goal late in the game, secured three points.
