Nicolas Jackson was in the center of a major brawl during Chelsea’s match against Nottingham Forest and looked to smack one of his opponents, with both sides certain to be punished.

Nicolas Jackson appeared to slap Nottingham Forest’s Morato during a major melee at Stamford Bridge.

Tempers rose between Chelsea players and their opponents late in the match, which finished 1-1 on Sunday afternoon. A massive altercation broke out between players and replacements, one of which was Jackson after he was pulled off.

That did not stop the forward from being front and center, with footage appearing to show him in a verbal altercation with Morato before lashing out and slapping his opponent. Jackson had to be hauled away from the brawl by Wesley Fofana.

Chelsea and Forest will both be fined for failing to supervise their players, and Jackson might face a retroactive ban for aggressive behavior. During an ill-tempered encounter, 11 yellow cards were awarded, with James Ward-Prowse being dismissed.

The Blues, who have had a solid start to the season under Enzo Maresca, have the poorest disciplinary record in the Premier League, but their manager insists his youthful side has no behavioural issues.

He remarked, “It’s something we need to work on, but I like the way the team is fighting.” I admire how they are becoming a team in these situations. I see no concerns with that.

“There are certainly things over which we have control and can improve, and this is most likely one of them. But if you ask me about the team spirit, the way they fight together, and the way they work together, I’m really pleased.”

Noni Madueke’s equalizer in west London secured the draw, adding to his impressive personal goal-scoring record. His second-half score cancelled off Chris Wood’s opener, ensuring Chelsea’s unbeaten streak since the season began. Forest have also only lost once this season.

Chelsea’s striker said: “Listen, Forest are a determined team that defended really well. Of course, we came into the game with the idea of collecting all three points, but we just couldn’t get it over the line, which is disheartening. I’m glad I scored; it’s always wonderful to obtain a goal. I’d missed a couple opportunities in recent games, so it was nice to get back on the scoreboard.”
