BREAKING: FA set to hand Arsenal 3points after shocking VAR decision at Stamford bridge – congratulations Arsenal fans

The Premier League has provided an explanation for the disallowance of Kai Havertz’s goal for Arsenal against Chelsea in the first half of their critical top-flight match. Havertz believed that he had scored the first goal against his former club.
The Arsenal forward was able to score a goal as a result of Declan Rice’s quick reasoning during a free kick. He successfully manoeuvred the ball under the grasp of Chelsea custodian Robert Sanchez and into the corner of the net. Referee Anthony Taylor awarded the score.
Havertz even celebrated by placing his finger to his lips, which effectively silenced the supporters of his former employer. However, VAR promptly thwarted the German. The goal was subsequently ruled out due to the fact that he had surged just clear of Levi Colwill before Rice’s pass was played, indicating that he was offside.
The Premier League Match Centre X account issued a statement stating that “Havertz’s goal was initially awarded on-field.” VAR verified that Havertz was in an offside position and advised that the goal be disallowed.
At the commencement of the season, the account was activated by PGMOL chief Howard Webb, who was eager to enhance transparency. In order to provide supporters with an understanding of the rationale behind critical VAR decisions, explanations are now being provided.
Arsenal was anticipating a turnaround against Chelsea following a string of unfavourable outcomes. In midweek, the Arsenal suffered a 1-0 loss to Inter Milan in the Champions League. This outcome followed Newcastle’s defeat by the same scoreline in the Premier League last weekend.
Since their 3-1 victory over Southampton on October 5, Mikel Arteta’s team has failed to secure a victory in the Premier League. Their advancement has been impeded by a 2-2 draw with Liverpool and a 2-0 loss to Bournemouth.
But Arsenal still has a significant opportunity to regain their position at the summit of the league in the upcoming months. Brighton emerged victorious in a 2-1 victory on the south coast, as Manchester City suffered their fourth consecutive loss and laboured for form.
Liverpool has established a five-point lead over Aston Villa in the Premier League following their 2-0 victory over the latter on Saturday. The only Big Six team that has had a completely positive campaign start is Arne Slot’s team, as their title rivals are grappling with injuries and inconsistent performance.
Rice and Martin Odegaard were able to return to the team for the match against Chelsea, which was a significant advantage for Arteta. Rice is currently competing with a fractured toe, while Odegaard has not participated in the league since August as a result of an ankle injury.
